Why do I want to be a vet?

When i was child always want to be veterinry, because i love the animals and remember always help to animals from the street. When i was child i dream have a place like to refuge to animals from the street.
when i get out of 4º i like 3 career: Biology marine, Agronomy and Veterinary medicine, but the last option is the most think i like and i choose this profesion for my life, i think that this is the most beautiful career.

In the university descover is not very easy this career, because there are to muchs things that memorice it, but equally i like. the teachers are very good they deliver us the tools necesary for to be good profesionals. is very nice study something that you like.

i would like to work whit horses, in the rececourse or in the center of horse therapy, because the horses are one of my favouryte animals

My opinions about...

1.- Organ donation?

I think organ donation is very important, because it can save lives, but unfortunately very few people in chile donate organs, so many people die waiting for an organ transplant. We should be more supportive and think about how many lives can be saved, might be you next, who needs an organ.

2.-Same sex relationships?

I think people are free to decide who they want to be, no matter if two women or two men or a man and a woman love each, I think what we need in this world is more love and less discrimination, we should be more tolerant with diversity of opinion.

3.-Facebook?

For my Facebook is a good tool to communicate with my family and friends who live far away, I think that each person should take care of what public and how it uses this network, but I think it is not suitable for young children,because it's not good to they to have access to these social networks without supervision of adult.

4.- fast food restaurants?

I think fast food restaurants are good places to go to eat occasionally,  with friends or family. not good when a person frequently eats at these places because the food is not healthy. I occasionally like eat in this places  because the food is very delicious, but unhealthy.

5.- Science fiction films?

I like science fiction movies, my favorite movie is the saga of harry potter, what I like about this movie is that I can imagine a world that is not real, but it's fantastic, let me out of reality and i can fly to a world of fantasy.

My name is Astrid Hansen i was born on 4 july 1993 in the city of Quillota, Chile. At elementary School i studied at liceo San Isisdro  in la cruz. Later, i completed high school at boarding in Los Andes called Instituto Agricola Pascual Baburizza.

In 2011 i received a scholarship to study at the university, granted by fundación Andronico Lucksic for having the best grades of class.

In 2012 i did my professional practice as a supervisor of harvest in agricultural  field in Los Andes. That same year i received my degree Técnico Agropecuario. At present i study veterinary medicine in universidad de chile.

I have 2 brothers ( Waldemar and Lothar) and 2 sisters ( Carla and Skarlet), my mom called Ana, she is school assistant and my father died in 2011.

I love animals, my favorite animals are the penguin, dolphin and horses. Also i like the music, i’m listening to music all the time, i like pop music, rock music and romantic music.

In my free times i like reading, listening to music, talk with my friends or go to trot.
